Vicente “Vinny” Navarrete was born in Nyssa, Oregon and raised down the road on the family farm in Ontario, Oregon. He fell in love with drawing and creating things at an early age (five according to his mom), and has illustrated and co-created these children’s titles: Dear Dracula (Image Comics), Sketch Monsters: Escape of the Scribbles (Oni Press), Sketch Monsters, Volume 2: The New Kid (Oni Press). When he’s not drawing or reading comics, he’s out shooting hoops, working on the farm or eating chips. Booger Beard (Oni Press), is his first solo book.
